## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT N738ZY, A CESSNA 172, WAS CONDUCTING CROSSWIND TOUCH-N-GO'S AT MYF ON MARCH 26, 2015. THE PIC WAS MARSHALL NICELY WHO WAS PROVIDING INSTRUCTION TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, A PRE-SOLO STUDENT PILOT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS LANDING ON 28L, AND DEVIATED SLIGHTLY INTO THE GRAVEL BESIDE THE RUNWAY IMMEDIATELY AFTER TOUCHDOWN. THE AIRCRAFT REGAINED CONTROL AND CONTINUED THE TOUCH AND GO. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED FOR FULL STOP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
