## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ON PATROL VOLUSIA COUNTY SHERIFF?S DEPARTMENT TWO MILES SOUTH OF THE DELAND AIRPORT, RECEIVED A BIRD STRIKE TO THE CO-PILOT CHIN BUBBLE WINDOW WHICH DAMAGE THE WINDOW ONLY NO OTHER DAMAGE RECEIVED DURING THE INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT SAFELY LANDED AT DELAND AIRPORT WHERE IT IS BASE OUT OF. NO INJURIES REPORTED FROM THE CREW ON BOARD DURING THE INCIDENT. THIS MATTER IS CLOSED AND NO CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED .

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
