## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

HAWKER PREMIER N189K BEGAN THE TAKEOFF ROLL ON RUNWAY 9 RIGHT. INITIAL TAKE OFF ROLL WAS NORMAL AND AIRCRAFT ACCELERATED AS PLANNED. THE PILOT STATED THAT AFTER 95 KNOTS BUT PRIOR TO V1 ( 106KTS), THERE WAS A RUMBLE AND SHAKE FELT. THE PILOT ASSUMED THAT A MAIN TIRE HAD BLOWN. THE PILOT IMMEDIATELY ABORTED THE TAKEOFF AND APPLIED MAXIMUM BRAKING. DURING THE BRAKING PERIOD A LEFT MAIN TIRE BLEW AND THE AIRCRAFT LEFT THE PAVED SURFACE OF RUNWAY 9 R AND CAME TO REST IN THE GRASSY AREA APPROXIMATELY 100 TO 150 FT OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT OR THE 2 PASSENGERS ON BOARD.

A BRIEF VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO ITS REMOVAL FROM THE GRASS SHOWED THAT THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINIMAL DAMAGE. THE RIGHT HAND MAIN LANDING GEAR DOOR WAS TORN OFF FROM THE LANDING GEAR STRUT. ALL MAIN LANDING GEAR TIRES WERE BLOWN. IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT ANY DAMAGE TO THE WINGS, FLAPS OR FUSELAGE OCCURRED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
