## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 10, 2015, AT APPROXIMATELY 1500 CDT, N5047H, AN AIR TRACTOR AT402A AIRCRAFT, REGISTERED TO SOUTHERN AIRE, INC., AND OPERATED BY A COMMERCIAL PILOT ATTEMPTED LANDING AT AN AIRFIELD LOCATED IN DES ARC, AR. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED LONG, AND CAME TO REST IN A RICE FIELD APPROXIMATELY .25 MILES FROM THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. THIS PORTION OF THE FLIGHT WAS CONDUCTED UNDER VFR CONDITIONS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
