## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

4-16-2015, N20MC HAD THE NOSE GEAR COLLASPE DUE TO A HARD LANDING AT CGZ RUNWAY 23 @ 1530. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED HE CAUGHT A GUST OF WIND ON FINAL AND COULD NOT COMPENSATE FAST ENOUGH AND THE AIRCRAFT DROPPED FAST AND HARD TO THE RUNWAY, THUS COLLAPSING THE NOSE GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT SLID TO A STOP ON THE LEFT SIDE OF CENTERLINE. THE ENGINE EXPERIENCED A SUDDEN STOPPAGE, ALL 3 BLADES WERE CURLED BACKWARDS AT THE TIPS. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED, THE RUNWAY HAD MINOR SCRAPES FROM THE PROP AND COLLAPSED NOSE GEAR DRAGGING THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
