## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^MR. GARLAND TUTON^ TAXIIED OUT FROM HIS HANGAR AT OAJ WITHOUT OBTAINING NOTAM INFORMATION. ^MR TUTON^ STATED THAT HE NORMALLY RECEIVES A CALL FROM THE AIRPORT MANAGER TO INFORM HIM OF ANY WORK BEING CONDUCTED THERE. ^MR. TUTON^ WAS FOLLOWED BY A ^MR. GERALD HURST^. ^MR. TUTON'S^ AIRCRAFT WING STRUCK THE MIRROR ON A PARKED TRUCK ON A SECTION OF CLOSED TAXIWAY. THE RESULTING COLLISION DAMAGED THE AIRCRAFT'S LEFT WINGTIP. ^MR TUTON^ STOPPED HIS AIRCRAFT AND WAS LATER TOWED BACK TO HIS HANGAR. ^MR. HURST^ CONTINUED TO TAXI, AND DEPARTED FOR HIS DESTINATION FROM THE AIRPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
