## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRLINES RECORDS INDICATED THAT ABORTED TAKEOFF DID HAPPEN, HOWEVER RECORDS INDICATE THAT THE FLIGHT WAS HELD DUE RESTRICTIONS AT THE DESTINATION (JFK) AIRPORT. VQIA POI SPOKE WITH MARK BREGAR, VIRGIN AMERICA SYSTEM CHIEF PILOT, YESTERDAY MAY 27, 2015, ABOUT THE TAKEOFF ABORT OF FLIGHT NUMBER VRD026 AT SFO. THE CREW REPORTED THE EVENT TO THE CHIEF PILOT?S OFFICE. VIRGIN AMERICA SYSTEM CHIEF PILOT SAID THE CREW EXPERIENCED AN UNUSUAL FMA DISPLAY. THERE WAS NO ?MAN FLEX? INDICATION THEREFORE THE CREW ABORTED THE TAKEOFF. THE CREW RE-ENTERED THE FLIGHT PLAN AND DEPARTED WITHOUT FURTHER OCCURRENCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR MANUAL REFERANCE VQIA GOM VOL 2 CHAPTER 5 SECTION 04 .

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
