## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 26, 2015, THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) OF N22412, A CESSNA 206 (CE-206) WAS LANDING AT LEWIS LOCKPORT AIRPORT (KLOT) IN ROMEOVILLE, ILLINOIS. DURING THE LANDING THE NOSE WHEEL OF THE CE-206 STRUCK THE RUNWAY CAUSING THE BOLT IN THE NOSE WHEEL STRUT TO SHEER AND PARTIALLY COLLAPSE THE GEAR FORWARD. UPON INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT, THERE APPEARS TO BE NO DAMAGE TO THE FIREWALL AND NO PROP-STRIKE OCCURRED.

THE PILOT AND THREE PEOPLE ON BOARD WERE UNINJURED DURING THE EVENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
