## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

BY THE PILOT'S STATEMENT, WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN BY ALL ACCOUNTS A NORMAL LANDING, CULMINATED IN A GROUNDLOOP AT THE END OF THE LANDING. THIS, AS STATED BY THE PILOT, WAS DUE TO A LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSE, UNRELATED TO THE LANDING OR OPERATION OF THE AIRCRAFT. AS DESCRIBED BY THE PILOT IT WAS "SLIPPING ASIDE TOWARDS THE WING".

PILOT STATED THIS WAS CULMINATED BY A VERY SLOW GROUNDLOOP AT THE OF THE LANDING, AS THE LEFT WINGTIP FINALLY TOUCHED THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
