## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 2, 2015 AT APPROXIMATELY 2000 CDT, A CESSNA 150J, N60598, OPERATED BY THE PILOT WAS INVOLVED IN AN INCIDENT DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, ON A 14 CFR PART 91 PERSONAL FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (VMC) PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND A VISUAL FLIGHT RULES (VFR) FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AFTER EXPERIENCING AN INITIAL SIGNIFICANT LOSS OF ENGINE RPM FOLLOWED BY A COMPLETE LOSS OF ENGINE RPM. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND COMPLETED AN OFF AIRPORT LANDING IN A SOFT GRASSY FIELD, COMING TO REST INVERTED. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER SUSTAINED NO INJURIES. THE PILOT HOLDS A COMMERCIAL PILOT'S CERTIFICATE. THE 14 CFR PART 91 PERSONAL FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM STEPHENVILLE CLARK REGIONAL AIRPORT (KSEP) AT 1940 CDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
