## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

BOTH PILOTS ^MR. MICHAEL O'NEAL^(INSTRUCTOR PILOT); ^MR. CHARLES M. PATTERSON^ (PRIVATE PILOT), HAVE ATTESTED THAT THE RESULT OF THE INCIDENT WAS CAUSED BY FAILURE TO CONTROL AIRCRAFT N32PC. ALL CREDENTIALS OF THESE TWO PILOTS ARE CURRENT I/A/W FAA RECORDS. AIRCRAFT N32PC WAS AIRWORTHY AND SAFE FOR FLIGHT PRIOR TO INCIDENT, NO KNOWN DISCREPANCIES.

^MR. O'NEAL ^HAS OVER 29K FLIGHT HOURS TOTAL AND OVER 900 FLIGHT HOURS IN CONVENTIONAL LANDING GEAR TYPES. HE HAS 60 HOURS WITHIN THIS MAKE AND MODEL TYPE. MR. PATTERSON HAS OVER 400 HOURS FLIGHT TIME, BUT ONLY ONE(1) HOUR IN THIS MAKE AND MODEL. ^MR. PATTERSON^ WAS SEEKING A CONVENTIONAL GEAR ENDORSEMENT.

THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY OF AIRCRAFT CONTROL BELONGS TO THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR, ^MR. MICHAEL O'NEAL^.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
