## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING THE THIRD LANDING THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR REPORTED THAT THE APPROACH WAS NORMAL, BUT THEN THE STUDENT DID NOT FLARE. HE SAID THE AIRPLANE TOUCHED DOWN HARD ONCE, NOSE LOW, AND THEN STARTED TO PORPOISE. AFTER THE PORPOISE, THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR SAID HE TOOK THE FLIGHT CONTROLS FOR THE FINAL LANDING ROLLOUT. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE DID NOT HEAR THE PROP STRIKE. HE SAID HE WAS WEARING A NOISE CANCELLING HEADSET. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE AIRPLANE DID NOT HAVE ANY MALFUNCTIONS DURING THE FLIGHT AND WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR.
