## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS USED IN A TRAINING FLIGHT WITH CFI AND STUDENT PERFORMING SIMULATED ENGINE FAILURE AFTER TAKEOFF. THEY CONTINUED IN THE PATTERN FOR LANDING, FAILED TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR, AND ON ATTEMPTED LANDING HEARD THE SCRAPING OF THE AIRCRAFT WITH THE RUNWAY SURFACE. THE PIC IMMEDIATELY EXECUTED A GO-AROUND AND LANDED UNEVENTFUL. UPON SHUT DOWN THE PILOT REALIZED THE PROPELLER TIPS HAD ALSO CONTACTED THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE WHICH INCLUDED TO THE FLAPS INBOARD AFT EDGES, FOOTSTEP, LOWER ANTENNA AND PROPELLER TIPS. NO INJURIES TO THE TWO OCCUPANTS. WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
