## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED H27 AND EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER. THE AIRCRAFT WAS ONLY ABLE TO ACHIEVE 20 FEET AGL. THE PILOT INITIATED AN EMERGENCY LANDING ON THE SAME RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CAME DOWN IN THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PARKING LOT ACROSS THE ROAD FROM THE END OF THE RUNWAY. ONSITE INVESTIGATION FOUND THE CARBURETOR DETACHED FROM THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA15CA166](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA15CA166), Jun 26, 2015: Bryan Jerry R CH750 (N750AF), Gainesville, MO, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's perception that the airplane was not climbing normally, which precipitated an aborted landing with insufficient runway remaining to stop the airplane safely.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
