## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING CROSSWIND LANDING ON RUNWAY 18 AT ANACORTES, WA AIRPORT, PILOT DRIFTED SLIGHTLY TO THE LEFT OF CENTERLINE AND CORRECTED BACK TO THE CENTER OF THE RUNWAY. HE FELT HE MAY HAVE APPROACHED THE RUNWAY AT A SLOWER THAN USUAL AIRSPEED, BUT AFTER CORRECTING FOR THE DRIFT HE TOUCHED DOWN IN A THREE POINT ATTITUDE. DURING THE ROLLOUT HE APPLIED THE BRAKES TO HEAVILY AND THE TAIL ROSE UP AND THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE RUNWAY SURFACE AS THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO FLIP ONTO ITS WING. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED BY THE PILOT. NO OTHER DAMAGE OTHER THAN TO THE AIRCRAFT.
