## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING THE TAKE-OFF ROLL ON RUNWAY 27 AT K3GV, THE LEFT MAIN WHEEL VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY AT APPROXIMATELY THE 1000 FEET MARKER. THE LEFT AIRCRAFT TIRE TRACKED PARALLEL TO THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY FOR ABOUT 200 FEET IN THE MUD. THE AIRCRAFT THEN VEERED LEFT, COMPLETELY OFF THE RUNWAY, AND STOPPED IN A DITCH. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT ACCELERATED FASTER THAN NORMAL DURING TAKE-OFF BECAUSE OF REDUCED WEIGHT AND MOVED HARD LEFT. THE WIND WAS FROM 180 DEGREES AT 17 KNOTS AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
