## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING SUBSEQUENT FLIGHT FOLLOWING A TAIL WHEEL ENDORSEMENT, THE PILOT, WHO WAS IN THE FRONT SEAT OF A TANDEM SEAT AIRPLANE, WAS DOING SHORT-FIELD LANDINGS. ON THE THIRD LANDING AT W27 THE AIRPLANE STARTED TO VEER LEFT. BOTH THE PILOT AND A CFI, WHO HAD GIVEN THE TAIL WHEEL ENDORSEMENT, WHO WAS IN THE BACK SEAT, APPLIED RIGHT BRAKING TO CORRECT THE LEFT VEER AND THEN AS THE AIRPLANE SLOWED ON ROLL OUT BOTH PILOTS APPLIED BRAKING ACTION CAUSING THE AIRPLANE TO TIP ON ITS NOSE. BOTH PILOTS EXITED THE AIRPLANE WITH NO INJURIES AND RIGHTED THE AIRPLANE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
