## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

07/11/2015: AROUND 4:00 PM CST (2100 Z), DURING LANDING ON RUNWAY 12 OF THE DAUPHIN ISLAND AIRPORT (4R9), PILOT STATED THAT A CROSS WIND FROM LH AT TOUCHDOWN TIME, CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO CONTACT THE RUNWAY WITH THE LH WING TIP, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE LH WING, AND ALSO TO THE LH HORIZONTAL STABILIZER TIP. HE MENTIONED THAT AFTER THE OCCURRENCE HE WAS ABLE TO TAXI THE PLANE TO THE PARKING AREA WITH NO ISSUES.

07/20/2015: AFTER AIRCRAFT INSPECTION IT WAS VERIFIED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE LH WING TIP AREA, WITH BENT UPPER AND LOWER STIFFENERS WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE REAR OR FRONT WING SPARS, AS WELL AS THE LH AILERON BEING BENT UP CLOSE TO THE MIDDLE HINGE AREA, WHICH SHOWS CHAFFING AND LOSS OF MATERIAL ON THE LH LOWER EXTERIOR SKIN AT THE AILERON TIP AREA. BOTH, TOP AND LOWER SKINS OF THE WING AT THE WING TIP AREA ARE SHOWING WRINKLES AND CREASES. ALSO, THE LH MAIN WHEEL SUFFERED SEVERE CHAFFING ON THE OUTER HALF, CAUSING SCRATCHES TO THE EXTERIOR SHOULDER OF THE MAIN TIRE WITH DYNAMIC WITNESS MARKS.
