## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER MAKING LOW PASS AT REMOTE STRIP, PILOT MADE ANOTHER PASS TO DRAG TIRES AND EVALUATE STRIP. AFTER TOUCHDOWN SLIGHTLY LONG AND VERY SOFT SAND SLOWING A/C MORE THAN EXPECTED, GO-AROUND WAS INITIATED. RISING TERRAIN ON DEPARTURE END PREVENTED TURN OUT OF VALLEY AND WAS TOO STEEP TO CLIMB OVER SO PILOT SET A/C DOWN ON SIDE OF RISING TERRAIN. DURING TOUCHDOWN ON SLOPE, PROP TIP MADE CONTACT WITH GROUND. NO DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT. DUE TO BENT PROP, PILOT ELECTED TO NOT FLY OUT. PILOT AND 1 PAX RECOVERED AND AIRCRAFT SLUNG BY HELO TO PAWS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
