## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS THE PIC OF N2073L ON 07-12-15. HE DIVERTED FROM OSU TO DLZ AT APPROXIMATELY 2300 DUE TO DETERIORATING WEATHER CONDITIONS AT OSU. THE RUNWAY SURFACE AT DLZ HAD STANDING WATER ON IT AT THE TIME OF TOUCHDOWN. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HYDROPLANED, APPLIED THE BRAKES, THE BRAKE LOCKED ON THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR AND BLEW THE TIRE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ RELEASED THE BRAKES, ADDED POWER TO THE RIGHT ENGINE TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT VEERING TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT RAN OFF OF THE END OF RUNWAY 28 INTO THE GRASS SAFETY ZONE AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE DUE TO THE PROPELLER STRIKING THE RUNWAY LIGHT AT THE WEST END OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
