## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 31, 2015 COMPLETED THE FLIGHT GOING FROM KHSD-KPNC ON THE WAY FROM KPNC TO KGUY THE AIRPLANE PILOT SIDE WINDOW POPPED OUT OF THE HINGES AND FLEW OUT AND FELL TO THE GROUND. THE PILOT CHANGED HIS FLIGHT PLAN AND LET KANSAS CITY CENTER CONTROLLER KNOW THAT HE WILL BE HEADING TO KHSD INSTEAD OF KGUY.

AUGUST 5, 2015 WENT TO SUNDANCE AIRPORT TO INSPECT AIRCRAFT N880CP PILOT

SIDE WINDOW. WINDOW HINGES BROKEN AND DOOR HAS THREE SMALL DENTS AND SCRATCHES. REVIEW OF THE AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE RECORDS SHOW THAT NO MAINTENANCE HAD BEEN DONE RECENTLY TO THE PILOT WINDOW OR DOOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
