## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 08/16/2015, A RV-8, N553KM, WAS LANDING RUNWAY24 AT THE GREENWOOD LAKE AIRPORT, FOLLOWING AN AIRSHOW PERFORMANCE. UPON ROLLOUT THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER AND CAME TO REST ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY ON ITS NOSE. ASI'S WERE ON SCENE FOR THE AIRSHOW AND WITNESSED THE INCIDENT.

^MR. KEN RIEDER^ WAS IDENTIFIED AS THE PILOT IN COMMAND BY THE INSPECTOR IN CHARGE (IIC). HE STATED THAT, UPON LANDING, HE TRIED TO MAKE A TURNOFF AND APPLIED HEAVY BRAKING. THE TAIL STARTED TO RISE CAUSING ^MR. RIEDER^ TO PANIC AND APPLY GREATER PRESSURE TO THE BRAKES. HE STATED THE CAUSE OF THE INCIDENT WAS SOLELY PILOT ERROR.

DAMAGE ON THE AIRCRAFT WAS LIMITED TO THE PROPELLER, BOTH WHEEL FAIRINGS, AND ENGINE COWL.
