As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 8/28/15 AT APPROXIMATELY 1215 LOCAL TIME, THE PILOT IN COMMAND OF N51101 (EXPIREMENTAL RV-6) WAS IN THE PATTERN AT SUSSEX AIRPORT, NJ (KFWN) FOR A LANDING ON RUNWAY 3. DURING THE LANDING ROLL, THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN PULLING TO THE LEFT OF CENTERLINE OF RUNWAY. AS THE AIRCRAFT DECELERATED AND WHILE REMAINING ON THE RUNWAY, THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER ON THE SPINNER (CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER FROM STRIKING THE RUNWAY) AND CAME TO A STOP.

AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT, FAA INSPECTOR WILLIAM VANARTSDALEN WAS PRESENT AT THE SUSSEX AIPORT, HOWEVER, HE DID NOT WITNESS THE INCIDENT. MR. VANARTSDALEN DID INSPECT N51101 AND OBSERVED THAT THE LEFT TIRE APPEARED TO BE DEFLATED, HOWEVER, THERE WERE NO HOLES/FLAT/BALD SPOTS NOTED ON THE TIRE. ALSO NOTED WERE RUBBER SKID MARKS AND WHITE PAINT MARKS (WHICH APPEARED TO BE FROM THE LEFT AND RIGHT WHEEL PANTS AND ENGINE INTAKE SPINNER) LEADING TO THE RESTING POINT OF THE AIRCRAFT.

NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED AFFECTING THE PILOT OR ANY SURROUNDING PROPERTY.

BASED ON THE INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED ON SITE AND A REVIEW OF ALL PICTURES, THIS INCIDENT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS A MECHANICAL ISSUE WHICH OCCURRED DURING THE LANDING ROLL FOR UNKNOWN REASONS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
