## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APPROACH TO 22R AT MATHER AIRFIELD, HAD GEAR DOWN SAFE LIGHT ON AND ALSO VISUALLY SAW GEAR DOWN INDICATION THROUGH INSPECTION WINDOW. WHEN MAIN LANDING GEAR TOUCHED DOWN, PILOT FELT THE LEFT WING DROP AND USED THE RUDDER TO KEEP AIRCRAFT STRAIGHT. MANIPULATED AIRCRAFT CONTROLS TO KEEP NOSE UP AS LONG AS POSSIBLE UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED DOWN. AIRCRAFT THEN SLID DOWN THE RUNWAY APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET ON AIRCRAFT BELLY AND CAME TO REST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
