## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING AIRCRAFT PUSHBACK FOR FLIGHT (DL FLIGHT 4997) IN DAY, THE PUSHBACK WAS COMPLETE AND THE AIRCRAFT PARKING BRAKE WAS SET. DURING THE DISCONNECT PROCESS, AN ENVOY AIRLINES BAGGAGE TUG AND CART STRUCK THE CAPTAIN?S WING LEADING EDGE AND WINGLET.

THE WING LEADING EDGE, WINGTIP, AND WINGLET WERE DAMAGED, BUT NO BREACH OF THE FUEL TANK OCCURRED. THE ENVOY TUG DRIVER EXPERIENCED MINOR ABRASIONS (REPORTED BY ENVOY). THE TUG LEAKED FUEL ON THE RAMP THAT WAS CONTAINED BY ARFF SUPPORT AT THE AIRPORT AND THE RAMP AREA WAS SHUT-DOWN.

ALL PASSENGERS DE-PLANED WITHOUT INCIDENT VIA MAIN CABIN DOOR AND AIR STAIRS.

NO CREWMEMBERS OR PASSENGERS WERE INJURED.

REVIEWED 10/02/2015. JEB.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
