## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SEPTEMBER 28,2015, AT 1550 CDT A MOONEY M20E, N49WW, SERIAL NUMBER 558, WAS DAMAGED UPON LANDING AT THE BRECKENRIDGE, TEXAS (KBKD) AIRPORT DUE TO THE PILOT, WHO ADMITTEDLY FORGOT TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM BROWNWOOD, TEXAS. VMC CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. PURPOSE OF THE FLIGHT WAS TO RELOCATE THE AIRCRAFT FOR MAINTENANCE UPGRADES. THE SOLE OCCUPANT OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS A CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
