## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS OBSERVED PRACTICING SIMULATED ?ENGINE OUT? EMERGENCY LANDINGS WITH THE POWER AT IDLE. WITNESSES STATED THAT THE PILOT DEVELOPED AN EXCESSIVE SINK RATE ON SHORT FINAL THAT RESULTED IN A HARD LANDING . THE LANDING WAS HARD ENOUGH THAT THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED INTO THE AIR THEN HIT AGAIN IMPACTING THE GROUND WITH THE RIGHT WING AND NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT SIMULTANEOUSLY. THE NORTHWEST/SOUTHEAST TAXIWAY WAS BEING USED FOR TAKEOFF AND LANDINGS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
