AT 8:30 AM MDT, 10/8/15, ALBUQUERQUE, NM. KUBICEK A-350 (N106KB) WAS ON LANDING APPROACH TO A FIELD WHEN THE PILOT HAD TO TAKE THE A/C HIGHER DUE TO POWER LINES. THIS CAUSED THE BALLOON TO COME IN ON A STEEPER ANGLE AND MAKE A HARD LANDING. 14 PEOPLE ON BOARD, 1 INJURY. A FEMALE PASSENGER SUFFERED A BROKEN LEG FROM IMPACT WITH HUSBAND'S KNEE DURING LANDING. AT THE TIME THE WOMAN THOUGHT IT WAS JUST BRUISED. FIRST AID WAS RENDERED AT THE SCENE. SHE LATER WENT TO A DOCTOR WHO X-RAYED LEG, DISCOVERING THE BREAK.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
