## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS LOADED BY EMPLOYEES OF THE HANDLING COMPANY IN SAN LOIS POTOTSI. NO LOAD SHEET OR OTHER GUIDANCE WAS PROVIDED TO THE LOADING CREW BY THE FLIGHT CREW. THE CARGO WAS NOT LOADED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOAD PLAN PROVIDED TO THE CREW BY THE COMPANY. AS A RESULT THE AIRCRAFT HAD A C.G. OF APPROXIMATELY -.8% MAC AT TAKEOFF WHEN THE CREW ASSUMED IT HAD THE PROJECTED C.G. OF 21.7% MAC. THE CREW SET THE STABILIZER TRIM TO 21.7% MAC. THIS, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE EXCEEDANCE OF THE FORWARD C.G. LIMIT, RESULTED IN A CONDITION WHERE THE ELEVATOR DID NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT AUTHORITY AVAILABLE TO ROTATE THE AIRCRAFT AT VR. THIS RESULTED IN A LATE ABORT AT HIGH SPEED WITH INADEQUATE RUNWAY REMAINING TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY AND IMPACT AIRPORT APROACH LIGHTING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB DCA16WA017](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/DCA16WA017), Nov 2, 2015: Mcdonnell Douglas DC 9 82(MD-82) (N73444), San Luis Potosi, Mexico, incident, minor damage

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
