## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AND MR. MARK JUNGK, LATER DECEASED, EXITED THE AIRCRAFT AT 10K FEET AGL. THEY HAD AN UNEVENTFUL FREE FALL. AT APPROXIMATELY 3,500 FEET AGL THEY SEPARATED, TRACKED APART AND OPENED THEIR CANOPIES.

AFTER THEIR CANOPIES OPENED, MR. JUNGK APPARENTLY COLLIDED WITH ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ RISER LINES. MR. JUNGK BECAME ENTANGLED IN THE RISER LINES OF BOTH CANOPIES, CAUSING THEM TO SPIN OUT OF CONTROL. AT APPROXIMATELY 2,000 FEET, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS ABLE TO CUT AWAY FROM HIS MAIN CANOPY AND DEPLOYED HIS RESERVE CANOPY.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WATCHED MR. JUNGK CONTINUE TO SPIRAL DOWN TO IMPACT WITH BOTH MAIN CANOPIES, HIS RESERVE BRIDLE, AND UN-DEPLOYED RESERVE CANOPY ENTANGLED. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LANDED SAFELY UNDER HIS RESERVE CANOPY. THE IMPACT WAS FATAL TO MR. JUNGK.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
