## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED, LANDING ON RUNWAY 8, AFTER TOUCHDOWN GUST OF WIND BLEW AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT. THE PILOT ELECTED TO STEER THE AIRCRAFT OFF THE RUNWAY IN THE DIRT. THE DIRT WAS FRESHLY GRADED AND SOFT. THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE PROP STRUCK THE GROUND, BENDING BOTH BLADES. THE FIREWALL IS REPORTED NOT BENT BY A LOCAL A & P MECHANIC. THE NTSB CLASSIFIED AS MINOR DAMAGE, INCIDENT, AND GAVE PERMISSION TO MOVE FROM THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
