EVENT NARRATIVE:

BACKGROUND

ENVOY AIRCRAFT N652RS DEPARTED SIOUX FALLS AND WAS CLIMBING AROUND 2,000FT WHEN FLIGHT CREW REPORTED A LOUD BANG, SIMILAR TO A BIRD STRIKE.  THE FLIGHT CREW DIVERTED, PERFORMED AN AIR TURN BACK, AND LANDED SAFELY AT SIOUX FALLS.
