## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER COMPLETION OF A TRAINING FLIGHT, PILOT IN THE LEFT SEAT ATTEMPTED TO SLOW THE AIRCRAFT USING THE BRAKES. AIRCRAFT DID NOT RESPOND.

THE PILOT IN THE RIGHT SEAT TRIED THE BRAKES ON HIS SIDE WITHOUT SUCCESS. PILOTS UTILIZED THE REMAINDER OF THE RUNWAY TO SLOW THE AIRCRAFT DOWN AS TO USE NOSE WHEEL STEERING.

PILOTS ATTEMPTED DIFFERENTIAL BRAKING TO ASSIST STEERING OF THE AIRCRAFT. UPON ENTRY ONTO THE TAXIWAY, THE AIRCRAFT MADE A SHARP LEFT TURN AND WENT OUT INTO THE GRASS. THE PROPELLER HIT A TAXIWAY LIGHT AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP IN THE GRASS ON THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY.
