## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 2, 2015, AT APPROXIMATELY 0001 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME, A KING AIR (C90), N277SW, DEPARTED NORTH TEXAS REGIONAL AIRPORT (GYI) FOR A TRAINING FLIGHT. TWO PILOTS WERE ON BOARD, COMMERCIAL CFI RATED PILOT IN THE RIGHT SEAT AND STUDENT IN THE LEFT. THE PILOTS WERE SETTING UP FOR LANDING AND NOTICE THAT THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR GREEN LIGHT WAS NOT ILLUMINATED. THE PILOTS MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CYCLE THE GEAR HANDLE, BUT COULD NOT MAKE THE LEFT MAIN LIGHT COME ON. THE CREW ELECTED TO MAKE A GEAR UP LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND BOTH PILOTS WERE UNINJURED. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
