ON DECEMBER 17, 2015 AT APPROXIMATELY 13:20 LOCAL TIME A SEAWIND 3000 (EXPERIMENTAL AMATEUR-BUILT), N79DJ, DEPARTED RWY 23 AT VENICE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (VNC), VENICE, FLORIDA, DURING ROLLOUT AS A RESULT OF INTERNAL FAILURE OF THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR OLEO AND LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST IN A DRY GRASSY AND SHALLOW DRAINAGE DITCH.
