## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 12/23/2015 THE PILOT OF A CHARTERED LEAR 55 AIRCRAFT, OPERATED BY INTERNATIONAL JET AVIATION SERVICES (CJPA) WAS ON TAKEOFF ROLL, RW 17R, CENTENNIAL AIRPORT (KAPA) WITH TWO PASSENGERS ONBOARD. PRIOR TO ROTATION THE PILOT RECEIVED A SPOILER WARNING INDICATION AND INITIATED A REJECTED TAKEOFF AT 120 KTS INDICATED SPEED AND THEN TAXIED OFF THE RUNWAY. APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES LATER, WITHOUT CONSULTATION WITH THEIR MAINTENANCE, WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE FIELD, THE PILOT INITIATED A SECOND TAKEOFF ROLL ON RW 17R AND AGAIN AT 120 KTS INDICATED AIRSPEED RECEIVED A SECOND SPOILER WARNING INDICATION AT WHICH TIME HE INITIATED A SECOND REJECTED TAKEOFF. DURING THIS REJECTED TAKEOFF THE RIGHT MAIN TIRES AND WHEEL WERE DESTROYED WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR DOOR AND CORNER OF THE RIGHT FLAP. ADDITIONALLY THE LEFT MAIN TIRE FUSE PLUGS ACTIVATED, DEFLATING BOTH LEFT MAIN TIRES. THE AIRCRAFT STOPPED ON THE RUNWAY AND THE PILOT NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE AIRCRAFT AT WHICH TIME HE INITIATED AN EMERGENCY EVACUATION OF THE PASSENGERS AND CREW. NEITHER THE PASSENGERS NOR CREW WERE INJURED. CENTENNIAL TOWER CLOSED THE RUNWAY AND MAINTENANCE WAS CALLED TO REMOVE THE AIRCRAFT; WHICH WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE AID OF A DOLLY UNDER THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
