## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON ENTERING THE PATTERN THE PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS HIGHER AND FASTER THAN NORMAL. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE NORMALLY PERFORMS A STANDARDIZED CHECK WHEN ENTERING THE PATTERN TO INCLUDE "THREE GREEN". THE PILOT STATED THAT HE SIMPLY FORGOT THE LANDING GEAR AT THIS POINT. THE PILOT ALSO STATED THAT HE FELT HE WAS "FAST" ON FINAL. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED "GEAR UP" ON RUNWAY 18 COMING TO REST ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE RUNWAY IN THE GRASS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
