## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED HE WAS PERFORMING PRACTICE APPROACHES. HE HAD JUST COMPLETED ONE APPROACH AND WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A SECOND APPROACH. HE LOWERED THE GEAR AND DID NOT GET A DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION FOR THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR. HE RAISED AND LOWERED THE GEAR BUT STILL DID NOT GET THE DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION FOR THE RIGHT GEAR.

THE PILOT CALLED HIS MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC OBSERVED THE AIRCRAFT FROM THE GROUND AS IT FLEW BY HIM. HE STATED THAT THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT ATTEMPTING TO KEEP THE WEIGHT ON THE LEFT MAIN GEAR AND NOSE GEAR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. AS THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED DOWN THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED.

DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS CONTAINED TO THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR ASSEMBLY, RIGHT PROPELLER, AND SKIN ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE RIGHT WING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
