## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

EYE WITNESS REPORTS CLAIM MRS. WOODS EXPERIENCED A "PILOT CHUTE IN TOW" SCENARIO. SUBSEQUENTLY, MRS. WOODS DEPLOYED THE RESERVE PARACHUTE. EYE WITNESS' REPORT THAT THE MAIN CHUTE DEPLOYED SHORTLY AFTER THE RESERVE CHUTE INFLATED. ACCORDING TO TWO ON SITE EXPERIENCED SKIDIVING INSTRUCTORS AND THE PILOT OF THE JUMP AIRCRAFT, MRS. WOODS PARACHUTES MANUEVERED TO OPPOSING SIDES OF HER RESULTING IN A DOWNPLANE SCENARIO ACCELERATING HER INTO THE GROUND. EXAMINATION OF MRS. WOODS LOGBOOK SHOWED THAT SHE HAD LOGGED 1302 SUCCESSFUL JUMPS AND HAD REPACKED HER MAIN CHUTE ON OCT 30, 2015, HER LAST LOGGED JUMP. EXAMINATION OF HER PACK RECORDS SHOWED THE RESERVE CHUTE HAD BEEN REPACKED BY A CERTIFICATED RIGGER ON SEPT 26, 2015. ACCORDING TO MRS. WOODS HUSBAND, AND FELLOW SKYDIVERS, MRS. WOODS ROUTINELY REPACKED HER OWN MAIN PARACHUTE. EXAMINATION OF THE PACK SHOWED THAT MRS. WOODS DID NOT ATTEMPT TO CUT AWAY THE MAIN CHUTE. EXAMINATION OF THE MAIN CHUTE SHOWED NO ANOMALIES. THE PARACHUTE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN CONTACTED AND THIS REPORT MAY BE AMENDED AT A FUTURE DATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
