## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

- [NTSB GAA16CA098](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA16CA098), Jan 2, 2016: Johnson Glenn L Zodiac 601 XL (N676L), Chesapeake, VA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain pitch control during the landing, causing the airplane to bounce and the nose gear to collapse, resulting in substantial damage to the firewall and frame.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
