## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, A&P^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ INSTALLED THE POWERPLANT FOLLOWING THE POWERPLANT OVERHAUL. DURING THE INSTALLATION THE FUEL LINE FROM THE FUEL SERVO TO THE FLOW DEVIDER WAS NOT SECURED PROPERLY AT THE B-NUT WHERE IT ATTACHES TO THE FUEL SERVO. DURING THE FLIGHT THE FUEL LINE LOOSENED AT THE FUEL SERVO FITTING CAUSING A FUEL LEAK AND ALLOWING A LOSS OF FUEL PRESSURE TO THE FLOW DEVIDER CAUSING THE POWERPLANT TO SHUT DOWN DUE TO FUEL STARVATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
