## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT IS CERTIFIED ROTORCRAFT PILOT, STUDENT AIRPLANE PILOT. STUDENT PILOT DEPARTED KUCP AT 1650 FOR KLNN. STUDENT WAS SOLO, BUT HAD BEEN IN CONTACT WITH INSTRUCTOR; BOTH HAD CONCERNS ABOUT WIND CONDITIONS. KLNN ATIS AT TIME OF ARRIVAL REPORTED WINDS 170 DEGREES AT 6 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 14 KNOTS. STUDENT MADE A NORMAL LANDING ON RUNWAY 23. DURING THE LOW SPEED ROLLOUT, THE STUDENT REPORTED "THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT JUMPED UP AND THE AIRCRAFT PORPOISED DOWN THE RUNWAY". DURING THE OSCILLATIONS THE AIRCRAFT PROPELLER STRUCK THE RUNWAY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MODERATE DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE NOSE LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
