## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

EMAIL FROM PILOT CONCERNING INCIDENT: ON FEBRUARY THE 1ST ABOUT 1130AM I WAS ON A VFR APPROACH INTO RUNWAY 1 AT KDRI, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WENT THROUGH MY CHECKLIST AND PUT MY GEAR DOWN AND WAITED FOR THREE GREEN LIGHTS. AS I MADE MY FLARE THE PLANE STARTED TO SINK I REALIZED SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY GEAR BUT IT WAS TOO LATE I IMMEDIATELY PULLED MY THROTTLES ALL THE WAY BACK. THERE WAS A WITNESS THAT WATCHED THE WHOLE THING AND HE STATED THAT MY GEAR WAS DOWN AND THEN AS I CROSSED THE THRESHOLD ONLY THE NOSE DOORS WERE OPEN. WE THINK THERE WAS A POSSIBLE MALFUNCTION IN THE GEAR SWITCH. THE DAMAGE CONSIST OF THE FRONT GEAR DOORS, THE INBOARD FLAPS, AND THE PROPS. IF YOU NEED ANY OTHER INFO JUST LET ME KNOW.

## Other reports on N320CC (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19890927053009I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19890927053009I), Sep 27, 1989: Cessna 320E (N320CC), Ontario, CA, Minor damage. Nose gear up landing. Found nose gear door was jammed into the wheel well above the landing gear.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
