## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT ATTEMPTED LANDING ON RUNWAY 30 AT DFI IN DEFIANCE, OHIO. LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT EXTEND USING NORMAL PROCEDURES. PILOT ATTEMPTED EMERGENCY PROCEDURE WITH NO SUCCESS.

DEPARTED THE PATTERN AND CLIMBED TO AN ALTITUDE OF APPROXIMATELY 3000 FT. AND ATTEMPTED TO TROUBLESHOOT LANDING GEAR / SYSTEM WITH NO SUCCESS. RETURNED TO DFI, ENTERED THE PATTERN AND COMPLETED A "GEAR-UP" LANDING ON RUNWAY 30.

NO INJURIES TO OCCUPANTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
