## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS PREFORMING TOUCH & GO?S AT THE HWO, AND EXTENDED THE GEAR, AND RECEIVED ONLY INDICATIONS ON THE MAINS BUT NO LIGHT FOR THE NOSE. PILOT RECYCLE GEAR A COUPLE OF TIMES, PREFORMED LOW PASS BY TOWER TO SEE IF TOWER COULD DETERMINE IF THE NOSE WAS DOWN AND LOCKED. TOWER ADVISED PILOT NOSE GEAR WAS NOT DOWN & LOCKED. THE NOSE GEAR WAS OUT, BUT CANTERED BACK. PILOT FLEW FOR ABOUT TWENTY MINUTES TRYING TO LOCK NOSE GEAR, BUT WAS UNABLE TO COME DOWN AND LOCK. PILOT BEGAN TO SMELL AN ODOR OF SOMETHING BURNING. PILOT FIGURED IT MUST BE THE HYDRAULIC PUMP FROM CONTINUING TO RUN AS THE NOISE WHEEL WAS TRYING TO EXTEND. PILOT WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 10L. THE MAIN GEAR TOUCHED DOWN, THE PILOT CONTINUED TO HOLD BACK PRESSURE ON THE YOKE UNTIL THE NOSE WHEEL SETTLED AND EVENTUALLY COLLAPSED. AIRCRAFT CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP AND PILOT IMMEDIATELY UNLATCHED THE DOOR AND EXITED THE AIRPLANE

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
