## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THIS PIPER PA46 LANDED ON RUNWAY 34R. AT THE POINT OF TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT IMEDIATELY PULLED TO THE LEFT, OFF OF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS. IN THE PROCESS THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE 4 BLADED PROPELLOR WAS SHATTERED. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP OFF OF THE RUNWAY IN THE GRASS IN A NOSE DOWN CONFIGUATION. THE NOSE GEAR HAD COLLAPSED AND WAS PROTRUDING FROM UNDERNEATH THE LEFT NOSE GEAR DOOR. THE PILOT PERFORMED A SHUTDOWN PER HIS CHECKLIST, EXTINGUISHED THE ELT, THEN EXITED THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
