## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PIC STATED THAT HE NOTICED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER WHEN SECURING THE PROPELLER WITH THE PROPELLER COVER BACK AT THE STATION. DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO APPROXIMATELY 2" OF THE PROPELLER LENGTH, AT THE TIP AND CONSISTED OF SERRATIONS APPROXIMATELY 1/8TH-1/4TH OF AN INCH DEEP. THESE SERRATIONS MATCHED SERRATIONS ON TAXI-LIGHT DEBRIS RETRIEVED BY THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER'S VILLAGE AGENT ON THE TAXIWAY, WHICH THE PIC RECOVERED FROM THE VILLAGE AGENT. THE DAMAGED PROPELLER WAS REPLACED BY THE STATION MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.

ACCORDING TO AIRPORT MAINTENANCE, THE BROKEN LIGHTS WERE THE RESULT OF THE PROPELLER OF N715HE CONTACTING THEM. ACCORDING TO THE PIC AND VILLAGE AGENT, THE TAXI-LIGHT DEBRIS WERE PRESENT DUE TO VANDALISM. BASED ON THE PHOTOS SUPPLIED BY AIRPORT MAINTENANCE SHOWING THE DAMAGE TO THE LIGHTS, IT IS MOST LIKELY THE PROPELLER OF N715HE CONTACTED THE LIGHTS, EITHER ON THE FLIGHT ON THE DATE OF THIS REPORT, OR ON A PREVIOUS FLIGHT. IT IS POSSIBLE THE PILOT WAS UNAWARE THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE LIGHTS DURING AIRCRAFT OPERATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
