## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT HE OBTAINED THE WEATHER AND SELECTED THE PROPER RUNWAY ACCORDING TO THE WINDS. AFTER TOUCHING DOWN ON THE CENTER LINE OF THE RUNWAY THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO LEFT AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY. THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR WENT IN THE GRASS OFF THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND THE LEFT PROPELLER STRUCK A BERM CAUSING DAMAGE TO ALL 3 PROPELLER BLADES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN SHUT DOWN ON THE RUNWAY AND TOWED TO THE RAMP. AFTER CONSULTING WITH AN OPERATIONS INSPECTOR, THE IIC RECOMMENDS A 44709 RE-EXAM ON LANDINGS FOR THE PILOT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
