## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING SEQUENCE, THE THROTTLE WAS ROLLED BACK, AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN, WIND BURST PICKED HIM UP. ON SECOND TOUCHDOWN ANOTHER BURST PICKED UP THE AIRCRAFT, THE PIC WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL, AND IMPACTED THE GROUND OFF THE RUNWAY GOING SIDEWAYS. THE NOSE AND RIGHT MLG BROKE. THE PILOT INDICATED THAT WHEN HE CHECKED WEATHER GUSTING WAS REPORTED BETWEEN 10-16 KNOTS. HE BELIEVES THE LAKE EFFECT AND TEMPERATURE WERE THE MAIN FACTORS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
