## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 26L. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE WIND WAS REPORTING 350 AT 6 KNOTS. ON THE ROLLOUT THE PILOT SAID THAT A RIGHT CROSSWIND, AND THAT HE WAS SLOW TO REACT, CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO TIP TO THE LEFT SIDE. THE PILOT REPORTED THE INCIDENT TO ATC. ATC ASKED IF HE NEEDED ANY ASSISTANCE, THE PILOTS REPLIED THAT ALL SYSTEMS WERE NORMAL AND ASKED FOR A TAXI CLEARANCE TO THE RAMP.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA16CA217](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA16CA217), Apr 9, 2016: Cessna A185 (N4095A), Chesterfield, MO, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll, which resulted in a ground loop and a wing strike.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
